Baba Jamiat Singh Ji was handed over the responsibility of managing Dera at Hoshiarpur after the demise of Baba Jawhar Singh Ji. Baba Jamiat Singh was disciple to Baba Bhagat Singh Ji and came from Mitha Tiwana along with Baba Ji during Partition. He was basically a Medicine man and spent most of his time treating the ill. He rendered free services to all and took immense pleasure in his work. He was quite old when cruel hands of destiny snatched away Baba Ji from us in 1964. The responsibility of managing the Dera was assigned to Sant Baba Tara Singh Ji.
